What is Shambhala?
SHAMBHALA is a holistic health practice in Bermuda that helps you to find peace, healing and wellness on all levels of being – emotional, mental, physical, energetic and spiritual. Shambhala is an ancient Sanskrit word that means “a peaceful land where enlightened beings dwell”. Symbolically, Shambhala is that inner dwelling of ineffable peace and wisdom at the heart of every person waiting to be discovered. Whether you are facing a health challenge, seeking relief from stress or anxiety, wanting something more from your life, or are in the midst of a life transition, the therapies offered here help pave the way for inner healing and transformation to occur.
At Shambhala, Shanell Vaughn, M.A., DHP offers a safe, compassionate space for you to relax the body and mind, experience meaningful personal transformation, receive energy treatments, practice yoga, feel a sense of empowerment, and connect to spirit. The purpose of the therapies offered is to support the whole person in returning to a state of balance and well-being. |
"Experience has taught me that profound and life-changing shifts can happen
if one simply feels seen and supported in a safe, non-judgmental space. I offer
individuals this space to heal and transform using energy work, yoga and transpersonal therapies so their inner wisdom and guidance can be accessed." -Shanell
Healing PhilosophySHANELL works intuitively with individuals and uses a wide variety of techniques and modalities derived from her training in the field of psychology, yoga and metaphysics over the past 20 years to help bring health to mind, body and spirit. The core of her philosophy is that each person possesses an innate wisdom that, with guidance and support, can be accessed in order to reveal answers to our most essential life questions: Who am I? Why am I here? What is my life purpose? When we are able to uncover the answers to these questions for ourselves, we have an opportunity to come into alignment with our highest purpose. Healing is a natural extension of this inner exploration, and joy becomes more available as a constant state of being.
